Basically as funds allow...still have to buy a cam, get head work done, gasket set, beef up the trans, etc. The truck's running well now (knock on wood), so I'm not under the gun to get it done fast. It's gonna be a while, but I'm sure in the end it'll be worth the wait. I'd like to have it going for next summer, but I'll have to see how I do money-wise.

Then I can make the 5.3 into a coffee table

Thanks for all the nice comments everybody

It's not looking too good right now...I'm still hurtin and medicated from surgery and Tom may have to stay in. I'd be going down with him if I do go...Tom will probably let me know his status tomorrow.

Yep, I'm out again too. The other project (house renovation) is too far behind schedule so my truck fun is on hold until this is complete. I have to take advantage of the empty house when I can. I really wanted to go too. Sorry guys.

Just be sure to post up the results and vids as soon as you get back. Good luck!!

The shoulder should be done long before the LQ9 is even ready...don't have enough funds to move the project along too much at this point. Gotta start squirreling some funds away first. Hoping to take care of some items that are a little easier to achieve first, SW long tubes, dual exhaust...then I wanna start buying parts for the LQ9 piece by piece as I can afford it. Gives me plenty of time to research and change my mind 50 million times but in the end it'll be worth it. Geez, my arm should be bionic by the time I'm ready to drop the mill in...maybe I'll save some cash on an engine hoist lol

Looking forward to video, hope you get into the 13's!
