Ls1 swap in 98 gmc sonoma

Money and time. You can get mounts from JTR. Then the stock radiator wil work to a point. Headers will have to be custom made if you want a decent set thats better then manifolds. You need a imput shaft and bellhousing from the LS-1 too. A custom harness will be in order too.

will the stock4L60e trans bell housing and input shaft work or does it just need to be hardened also i have the harness for all the engine sensors i do need a pcm do they make a aftermarket one and would you know wher i can get these items ill need

The LS1 style input shaft on the trans is different than the others, as well as the bell housing bolt patern. I would bet you would do best by buying a busted trans off an f bod or truck.
I just recently bought a 90 model s10 for this very reason too. Mine will be more race oriented though.
