I can't recommend Toyo Proxes S/T's highly enough. Excellent wet & dry traction, and they hold their compound consistency throughout the treadlife. These things ride and handle as good after 30k miles as they do brand new.
Thank you I've heard nothing but good things about the Proxes, so I had to try them.

Any idea what the offset of the Titan wheels are? They look great, however I have clearance issues on the rear with the addition of helper bags.

I just ordered a set of helper bags, so I'll be able to let you know in a week or so if they clear ok.

When I pick them up Monday, I will measure the backspacing.

Decided to look into this... The wheels on 99 Silverado wheel are 16 X 7 with a 31 mm offset. The Titan wheels are 18 X 8 with a 25 mm offset. Wheel sizes taken from ebay.

The inner clearance should decrease by 8 mm (or .315") while the outer position should extend an additional 18mm (or .7087").

I'll have to check to see in the morning if the decrease of inner clearance will interfere with the helper bags. Its going to be close.

How does the tire sidewall play into this? Thinking the tire sidewall tends to extend beyond the wheel lip although the shorter the sidewall the less of an issue this will be.
(as long as the width of the tire is correct for the wheel width)

What do you guys think?

I think they look good. Kinda look like a softer style SS wheel IMO, plus they look to be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper.

The titans are 18x8 with 5" of backspacing meaning they MAY tuck on a bagged truck, but not perfect.

Here's a dirty picture of my truck with my titan rims:

Oh and I know I've bragged about this a few times on here, but I paid $51.00 for the full set of my titan rims and they came with tires(not the nittos in my picture).

EDIT-Mine weighed in at around 61lbs each with brand new nitto 420s 255/55/18s

I just measured mine and it's 6" exactly from the widest part of the tire to the frame. Hopefully the helper bags will fit ok.
