Default Made some runs

Ran my truck at the local drag strip yesterday against my friend's 2000 Silvy 5.3,auto,3.55 (Ithink), peg. Mine has a 3.42 peg. We were doing time only for the fun of it. His is a rcsb. Temp was about 70, hum. ???..not too bad.
My best: 16.12 at 87.38
His Best: 15.56 at 87.86

We both have the same CAIs...he has duals from a hooker muffler back.

I thought the times were fairly decent considering almost no mods. What do you guys think?

I know it's not the greatest set-up. I was manually shifting at 5,700(for 1-2)...at the top of 2nd,the 1/4 mile was done. If I let it shift on its own,it does the 1-2 at 5,300(thought it was supposed to do it at 5,600).

He had a hard bed cover, some steel tow cable and jumper cables more or less permanently hooked into the front of the bed...might've added a tad to his et.

Was the 16.12 pretty good for the truck in the sig?
