Default My 1991 S10 V8

Well guys, been on here for a looong time. Some of you guys might remember my old truck :

I sold it like this :

And bought it back looking like this :

I have been rewiring eveything since I got it back :

I had the truck for 9 years, sold it and the guy dropped a 350 TBI V8, 5 Speed tranny, new driveshaft, 4:10 rear gears. I got it back in my driveway last night. It was nice to see it back home. I really missed it. It needs some help though. I need to fix, repair, make things look better. It runs, but needs exhaust, wiring fixed, and odds and ends fixed. New paint. The truck has originally 40K miles on it as it sits. I got it when it had 17K miles.

I still have my xtreme that I drive daily and a 1971 Ford Torino GT Convertible that I recently inherited from my grandfather who was the original owner.

I'm crazy excited to have it back and work on it again.

Well I picked up some LS1 fans and radiator for $65 bucks! they are in good shape!

Degreased the motor down last night. Got all the dirt crap off. I need to get a power steering puller kit to remove the rest of the stuff. Once thats off I'm going to repaint the motor gloss black. Then clean everything up and reinstall everything. I retapped a few holes on the motor and brackets that were stripped, using the wrong bolts. Friggin boneheads before me. 2 bolts only holding the water pump pulley! Got the wiring almost done.

I took my intake manifold, acess brackets, water pump, pullies, alternator, couple parts to the blower, and couple other misc things to the local media blaster. They should be ready today. I'll post some pics later.

I got my LS1 fan relays and harness built. I wanted to buy a fan kit, but they are like $50! so I was like screw that I'll make my own and just buy the thermo switch sensor.

Still working on the wiring. I can't figure out a couple wires on the engine harness.

I just got valve cover gaskets for the new covers.

This mount is gotta go :

Anyone know what tranny this is ??

Its a 5 speed.

I'm working on a small project. I found a wrecked C6 Vette. I yanked the headlights. The HIDs and projectors were still good. The case and front lens were cracked and scratched up.

Pics : http://photos.streetfire.net/album/1...te_1635908.htm

If anyone has any ideas, post them up. Looking for a good glue to seal the back.

I also yanked the throttle body, coolant tank, alternator, some plugs, the computers and modules, one side engine cover. The car was pretty trashed. rolled over a few times and there was no roof on it.

The motor looks like this right now :

I also rebuilt my alternator and power steering pump. Media blasted the cases and new paint.

Pics of the paxton set up I'm installing as well :
