UPDATE:

Got the main bearings today, and only got to work on the motor about 2.5-3 hrs... Got the cranks swapped out (mine in and AJ's for him and the 370), got the pistons cleaned up, and everythings just good to go. Only got 1 & 2 pistons in but its pretty smooth. Gonna button everything up on the bottom end tomorrow hopefully

everythings good to go, just need to pull the 4.8 swap cam and springs, slam the new found power home and begin the fun!

BTW Here is a little humor for the day...

So about 3pm or so, The mechanic next door comes flying into the shop... I'm Like WTF??? HE goes,( with a Vitnamese Accent) "I think I in Trouble... Or maybe the boss". Then this lady pops hear head in the door at his shop and he runs in to our shop... then she comes around to our back door and see's him run out the front... I am like WTF Is going on... At this point I relize she had something to do with the city and they were obviously going to get into some seriuos trouble... He comes back like 2 minutes later an says (Again In the Accent) "O man I get caught washing engine and she got my name now... What you think Going to happen to me???" Just then Serins from the Fire dept start going 2 blocks away... I am like Oh man you guys are in so much trouble!!! There gonna nail you for dumping hazardous waste...


Well They Ended up with a serious Warning!!! The City Blocked off the gutter at the sewer opening and they had to go out and mop up everything in the gutter....

cam and springs in the 4.8 is a Lunati 221-.558-114 and the springs are LS6s.

I have the 240, I just dont have the money for springs that'll take .635 lift right now haha
