My parts pile has begun

Yep, I'm past the point where I think I can do anything on a limited budget. Gotta pay to play.
Jake, I've got the Walbro inline from the Radix in there right now. It should be enough for the 408 NA, but when I get to the turbo stage I'll have to upgrade again, probably going to do dual in-tank pumps. I'll research that more when the time comes.

that's cool. the walbro is a good pump. probably by the time you turbo you'll do a fuel cell and a nice aeromotive
im lookin at a high-perf MSD pump right now for the buggy, pretty good bang for the buck IMO.
and definately, speed = mucho dinero. even when building a homebrew system. the efi swap is gonna cost me around 1k in the end, but that's well worth it. and the knowledge is priceless.

Not only no but hell no, those rockers are known to cause valve float, you see them for sale ALL the time on tech atleast one set a month it seems. I would atleast go to a nice shaft rocker like the Jesel Sportsman series they are baout 650 a set and have the intake and exhaust rocker on each shaft. Or you can get the badass ones the Jesel J2K's for about 1200 and are bullet proof, perfectly balanced, and have adjustable pushrod cups for ease of setting valve lash. Eventually I will have a set on mine.

That sounds like what I want to do, I didn't see them as a necessity right now. When I do get a set though I won't be cutting any corners. Those bulletproof Jesel's sound like the way to go.
