ya we know you're truck is reallllly slow. you MIGHt be able to be at gt lol.

hey thunder those injectors are workin out great for the dune buggy's new motor project. yesterday we figured out the mounting of the reluctor ring for my gen1.
i feel the same way with the pile of parts deal right now with the buggy project. seein almost every part on the floor is sickening cuz I still have to order the most expensive stuff (fuel rail stock/fuel pump/some an fittings/intake manifold to machine/and a few other things). can't wait til I bring it to the track though. i've never seen a scratch built ls-based efi system for a genI before

good luck with the project. and send me some more of your old parts

Glad to hear your poject is coming along, I'm sure it feels good to retrofit a bunch of new stuff onto an older block.

yeah its pretty fun. I really just wanna hear the motor scream lol. I'm really anxious to see what kind of hp the motor will make after the retrofit. I have no idea how the tuning will go with the motor though. its prolly gonna be a little hard to get it down real good. anyways, I can't wait to take it to the track. im hopin for a good 13 . I guess it might be a little faster.
maybe around 300-350rwhp
th350
31" boggers (lol I know they aren't good racing tires but that's all that fits)
race weight with me and zach my buddy (he'll be the laptop bitch lol) is around 2k lbs.

you still have any more parts left from your 5.3 thunder? jw,

jake

I still have the block, crank, and all the covers including oil pan, and the sensors (cam, crank, oil pressure, etc etc.)

Also have a set of stock lifters.

Sure, the oil pressure sensor is from the 2005 motor, it has a different connector than the 2001, just so you're aware. The cam and crank sensors are the same for all years. I'll PM you price and paypal address.
