NBS 4.3 Swap question

NBS 4.3 Swap question
First post, longtime lurker. Been trying to do a lot of research on the NBS 4.3 to V8 swap and there are some very informative threads, but there is one question I cant seem to find a solid answer to, so here goes.
I have an 04 model silverado with a 4.3, what throttle body will I need to use when I swap to a V8? Cable or DBW?
Will a 4.3 throttle cable work for a V8?
I have read several threads that say make sure you get a like engine and harness as a donor for the original truck, (i.e. if you have a 99-02 get an engine & PCM from those years) but im confused on when this applies when starting with a 4.3.... Seeing as they are all cable operated throttle bodies will i need a V8 from 99-02 that has cable operated TB, or since the truck is an 04 would i need a V8 from 03-06 and need to buy a fly by wire pedal and tach module?
Is the TB the only reason to match truck and donor engine generations? Or are there other things such as wiring, PCM to BCM communication, etc?
I hope my question makes sense, there is a wealth of knowledge on this site, hopefully someone can straighten me out on this.
Thanks

Your body is the GEN II NBS and therefore, I'd assume easier bolt in.
Not to mention a good low mileage 99-02 much harder to find.

You can run a cable operated throttle on a 04 truck. Many of the 03-06 PCMs do have the capability to operate the IAC on a cable tb. Any route you go pcm programming is going to be a must.
What is the pcm part # on your truck? It can be tuned to run a v8
