Ok im in the middle of buying my second truck BUT i was wondering what will be best of these 3 trucks .......
(1) 03-04 Silverado 5.3 SCSB and Install all the Boltons maybe a Charger some light 20'z probably SS Conversion stuff like that.....
(2) 01-02 Silverado 5.3 SCSB Corvette Front Clip and Tail Gate all boltons,Charger, some 20'z you name it..
(3) 04 Ram Hemi SCSB install Charger,Boltons,SRT/10 spoiler,SRT/10 Hood,22's,Exhuast , Tail Wing mostly a SRT/10 Replica......

This is where im stuck guys Please Judge by Numbers and why! Dont just blast with the mouth becuase you dont like one(cough...chough HEMI) lol

 

not trying to be brand specific but i would go with the 03/04 chevy or gmc. You have way more options out there for the truck vs the dodge in the aftermarket. Power is good and only gets better with mods. Just like the ls1 in the fbody, the trucks respond well to mods. also, you will have to deal with less weight to get moving fast and you have a ton of knowledge on what parts work and what parts don't work on this site.

 

Danny, I would get a used 03 rcsb witha 5.3 with less than 20K miles They can be found for less than 18K if you shop around. I can help you negotiate a good deal. I am pretty good at that... LOL.... I might also be able to hook you up with a custom tune using HP tuners.
As far as the Hemi goes, I know somebody in RGC who just changed his 04 scsb Hemi for an 04 GMC. He could not keep up with stock 03-04 5.3 scsb. Maybe RGVSierra will chime in on this since he has inside scoop on this.

 

Only problem I see with the Hemi is the lack of aftermarket support and the computer tuning. You'll never get great power out of the supercharger till the computer can be tweaked.

Otherwise I'd get an older GM (01+) and go bolt-on crazy OR go forced induction.

 

i think u should get a white,4.8 o1 sierra 4x4 rcsb, denali front clip, 6.0 swap,cmotorsports single turbo kit, 4l80e, lowered on 20s.....and then trade me for my blue 01 sierra with a 6.0 procharged cuz u ended up with the truck i want.

I would go with a clean 01. Do a 6.0 swap, turbo, 20's 4L80 ....

Yeah... just drive over. A drive tune will proabaly workout better for you.

what does a Silverado with a Corvette front clip and Tail gate??? look like. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be sarcastic, but you've lost me on this one.
