Default New Girl

Hey, i'm new to the board. My name is Brittani, i'm a college student in Conway, AR. i drive a 99 GMC Sierra which is my obsession. Right now my truck has a 2-4 drop and 17's; as of tomorrow, i'll be rollin' on 22's. I do have a couple of questions i hope someone can help me with. The price of tires for 22" rims is insane. How much should I expect to pay for a 285/35. The price they quoted me is more then the rim itself. Also, will that tire fit under my truck without having to trim my finderwells?

The size tire depends on your rim offset. In the rear on a 22x8 you will need at least a 6.5" backspace to get them to tuck. My 20x8's with a 6.5 backspace and 275/45/20 tires needed about a 1/2" of trimming on the fenderwell edge to tuck when I air out my bags.

Talk to Todd@discounttiredirect to get some good prices and service, hes a member on here and will be more than willing to let you know what does and does not fit. He also has 22's on his truck.

Welcome to the club.

Thanks! If someone could tell me how to post pictures, i have some of my truck. I tried to put one on my profile, but it is too big of a file. I don't know how to make it smaller.

Conway is almost in the center of Arkansas. Heber is about an hour away. It is so pretty up there.
