I give you fair warning, if you have a good income now, be prepared to watch it wash away before your eyes and if you dont, be prepared to save like you have never saved before... and if you like to go fast (like many of us here) then you are in the right place to learn everything you need to know and spend all (and I do mean all) of the money you come in contact with...

Other than that, welcome to the site, and try not to suffer from separation anxiety if you lose your computer

i have 22s on my sierra with a 2/4 drop and theyre 9.5" wide. the backspacing is 7.5 so they stick out alittle but when the shocks compress, it gives them negative camber so they dont actually hit the outside fenderwell. but i did have to cut out a little of my inner fender so I wont rub

So if the rim is 9" wide and the tires are 285/35, what kind of backspacing do you think i'll need.

Welcome to the site. I live up in Jonesboro AR and am going to ASU. I'm going to try and put 20's on my truck. Is there any cheap tire dealers in Conway?

Welcome. You will find many answers to your problems/questions here.

I have 22 x 9.5's with Nitto 285/35/22. The backspacing on my rims is 6.25 inches. With a 9 inch rims, you should probably have around 5.75 to 6 inches of backspacing since the rim width is more narrow. Here is a pic of what that rim/tire combo looks like. If the tires rub a little you could always roll the lip of the fenders. Good luck.

I think you got it backwards, but I could be wrong too. More backspacing puts the less of the rim in front of the mounting surface. Backspacing is the distance between the back edge of the rim and the mounting surface. Less backspacing would put more of the rim in front of the mounting surface. I hope I'm making sense.
