you can get a momentary button from jegs and some spiral wire and make your own, bu it's going to look like ****. why not just use a WOT switch like almost all nitrous kits come with?

well i am being told that if i am going to race the truck then i need to put it in low. when this is done the reverse clutch pack and forward pack are both engaged thus taking pressure of the pinions. so if i am going to have to shift it then i will need a button. and since i dont have slicks i need to launch then hit it. i think i am going to use a msd rpm switch.

for racing you don't HAVE to shift it yourself...some people just do. depending on your tuning. the window switch is the best way to go but you DO NOT have to shift it yourself to get the best out of it.

according to some of the top builders it is better if you do. but i figure the rpm switch will take care of it.

top what builders? engine builders, home builders, transmission builders? i've raced my truck, my z28, and several other vehicles and have tried both techniques with most of them that were autos and have gotten basically the same results with both techniques.
