Question No 6.2l 1/2 ton 2013?

I have herd rumers that the 6.2l will only be in the 3/4 ton HD trucks and the 1/2 tons will go back to the 6.0l for the high output engine in the 2013 nbs trucks. I hope this is not true its like going a step back nothing wrong with a 6.0l but after introducing a 6.2l in the half tons thay should stick with it. what say you? Becides if I where to have a HD it would be the Duramax. other than the huge price tag for the engine and dumb high emissions junk on it.

having the 6.0 instead of the 6.2 won't necessarily be a bad thing. better gas milage im betting and easily capeable of the same poer as a 6.2.

Having a 6.2 sure sounds fancy, but is it really worth the extra cost for extra .2??

x2......I thought they put that engine on the back burner for the time beeing. Have they started working on it again.

I have always loved the 6.0l and the 6.2l is even better. I don't see why GM would want to do that but they do have a history of canceling some popular items. (RWD Impala SS/Syclone/Typhoon come to mind)

It's retarded to even discuss a truck that far out, GM barely knows what its doing year to year much less 2 years in advance.

Sadly till the trucks hit the lot lots can change between now and then. I hope they don't get rid of the 6.2. It is a great motor, great power stock and decent gas millage for what it offers
