It sucks that it happened, but everyone makes mistakes. At least he was man enough to tell you about it, i would be grateful for that.

I am definitely grateful he told me. Said this was only the second thing he had hit since he has been driving, the first was a rock. I know it will be fixed and look just as it did.

After reading it again, it sounds like he really tore it up. I will try and get some pics to show the damage, really not that bad.

Man your story brings back memories of when I hit my car backing out of the driveway and it tore the bottom of the rear completely off. Luckily you will find depending on the dealership that a new quarter for your truck is no more than $275 plus the paint job it cost me a total of $875 to have the new quarter installed and painted.

But I feel your pain and YES at least the guy manned up and told you he man I hit your truck.

And he has been driving for a hole two weeks
Just kidding, People need to give truck drivings a little brake, They drive 1/4 million miles a year and most have a better safety record than most cars. they weigh up to 80,000 pounds and people pull right out in front of them because they don't want to be behing a truck, they can't stop on a dime. Everything you touch or buys get to that location by a truck, they have very long and boing days. I take my had off to most all truck drivers.

I ccompletely agree with you. My summer job is at a loading dock so I get to meet all kinds of truck drivers there good and bad. Some of them can maneuver a truck/trailer better than most can a car, while others..... Considering the miles they put on a couple accidents on their records is called the law of probability
