Default o2?

Hi I have a truck with previous water damage the engine was replaced. My problem is the truck is running like garbage I put it on the scanner and 9 codes came up all 4 02 sensors low voltage high voltage missfires I also know there is an exhaust leak on one side have to re tighten the catpipe or y pipe in fbody language. So i went to buy 02s sensors and was given a 400 dollar price for 4. I didnt buy them since I would have to wait for 2 on order. There telling me canadian ones are differnt too? should I replace the front 02s and see if it runs better because from what I recall the rears are just to say the cats are working properly. The truck has 106k on the body so should i cut the wire and see if i can snapaper them or should i sack up and buy 4 new? I know its alot to answer but this is the place to ask thanks alot.

Or you could say screw the O2's and have them shut off with an SD tune. Either way I wouldn't waste money on replacing the rear ones.

It runs like **** below 70 degrees rough idle missfires. It stinks like sulfur and when its below 70 degrees and i get on it it smokes like a diesiel on a smoker setting lol. Cant say how it runs when its hot becuase of this shitty chicago weather. do they still sell 02 simulators?

I'd get the rears tuned out. You can replace the front ones if you can find them cheaper.

I dont think you can buy o2 simiulators anymore and from what i remember they didnt always work that well anyways.

Do what I did, I just recently got my 02 lights to shut off on my 97 work truck since the cat was plugged. What I did is got 2 spark plug non foulers HELP part #: 42002 18mm pieces

Then since 2 of them come in a pack - drill one of them out with a 9/16" bit all the way through.

They come like this:

Drill one out so it looks like this:

You'll end up with this:

Now insert your 02 sensor into the one you drilled out (remember to use antiseize on the threads)

Here should be the end product before you screw it into the bung.

Hook everything up and enjoy. I did this 2 weeks ago on my truck after yanking the cat and with 500 miles on the setup I haven't set a light yet. Good luck!
