OE 2005 Z71 Brake Pads
It's BrakePad Time.
I have a 2005 Z71 with the improved brake system. I am one of a very few who like the rear drums. The have more surface area and proportioned to wortk correctly.
The truck stops on a dime and I'm afraid of aftermarket pads not grabbing as well or dusting.
The GM parts guy says he can get me the show room pads and claims they are the best pads for the truck barr none.
I would like to know if anyone with the same truck and brake sys has found different good or bad. The pads are $100.00.
