I'm do for an oil change...Noticed the truck running a little rougher than usual (180k miles) never had any problems. Could be sludge in oil?
Should i use a higher mileage oil?
A thicker oil?
Should i pour in some lucas?
Also, figured while im at it might as well do the spark plugs and replace my K&N while i'm at it, what brand sparks would you go with?

yep tr5 plugs are what i run, and IMO oil is oil. ive tried them all, valvoline synpower, mobil1, pennzoil platinum, and even synthetic supertech! i really believe what makes a diff its how often you change it.

TECH Regular
Yep GTX is still one of the best, or if you have your heart set on Synthetic, Mobil 1. As far as filters go use a Wix (Wix also makes K&N oil filters and Napa's Gold filters. There's more I just can't remember). Stay the hell away from Fram.
