any synthetic 0-20w oil is what i run. reaches max lubricating capacity faster than 30w, starts out thinner, so gets through passages faster when cold. read a ten page write up on oil viscosities, thats the nitty gritty. as for plugs, I just use delco iridiums. they are expensive, but never an issue. had issues with NGK Bosch and champion in the past.

Supertech syn 5w30 and delco filter. Ngk br6ef plugs. For stock or bolt ons use delco plugs, I've seen them with 150k miles on them and they still look ok. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on oil, but personally, I use the cheap wal mart supertech oil in my 800+hp turbo engine that gets daily driven in the hot summer and frigid winter. Supertech conventional in my other vehicles. I do believe in not using synthetic while breaking in a new engine though, Joe Gibbs break in oil is worth the money IMO for a née engine.
