Default One headlamp dim and both high beams also on and very dim

On my 02 Z71 I seem to have suddenly gotten some sort of an electrical issue.
My truck has had an HID conversion and the HI-4 mod done for at least three years and never an issue with either...

Yesterday after work I noticed the left headlamp out. I turned off the switch and when I put it back on, both headlamps lit....so I drove home.

Noticed when I pulled in my driveway that the left headlamp was out again...

I figured that the bulb or ballast was finally going bad so decided to swap back in my old stock bulbs for the time being.

Turned lights on and left side is maybe half as bright as the right. Switched bulbs left to right and vice versa...left side dim.

Then I also noticed that both high beams were also on, although very very dimly lit. If I click the highbeam switch , right side works as it should but left side bulbs BOTH go out....

I re- did the ground to left side low beam...no change.
All fuses good.
All other lights normal.
Checking bulb connectors with a volt meter shows battery voltage on all four headlamp connectors when on low beam.

Anybody has this issue before?

I thought for sure it was a simple ground problem but it doesnt seem like that is it. It seems like the headlamps are backfeeding or something???

well....I have found out a few facts today...

1. I am blind as a bat and therefore should NOT try to figure out electrical issues at 6am.

2. A blown headlamp fuse can make some weird stuff happen with your headlamps.

3. My 4 year old $80 HID setup finally gave up the ghost.

Brief explanation for anyone else who may have this issue in the future...

Evidently, one of the HID ballasts went bad and blew the left headlamp fuse.
I looked at every fuse under the hood and under the dash and swear I never saw the two headlamp fuses under the hood, lol.

Rather than spend the cash right now, and due to the fact that I only have a 10 minute drive to work now, I decided to just use regular old headlamp bulbs for the time being.

Been having the same problem with my headlights. Tomorrow I will check the fuse.
