Thanks for the info guys, I'm going to have to look into this. I went with the LS1 fans because my truck is only 200~ pounds heavier than a 1500 ccsb 4x4 due it technically being a 1500HD/2500LD

I have no problems with a 6400lb truck and a supercharged 408 with a 34" rad and ls1 fans in alabama heat. I do have a 180 tstat though. Temps usually stay in the 190-210 range depending on how much stop and go im doing.

Its hotter today and didn't notice it moving off 190, would having my tune adjusted for the fans to turn on sooner help?

Yes, but only to the limits of the radiator. I have mine set to low 203/192 and high at 210/202.

there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, why would you change anything.

Just reported what was happening today. But when I had the AC on it ran up to 220/240.

In my experience, the factory gauge is more of a dummy gauge. Mine doesn't seem to move from 190 until the temp hits 220-225ish.

Check your secondary fan/fuse/relay/circuit.

doesn't sound like it is coming on.

I went outside and both of the fans are running at full speed.
