Default P0440 code

Hey guys,

Ok this is pissing me off now, its been three months and i cannot figure this out for the life of me, I repalced the gas cap with a locking cap-brand new, replaced my purge valve- brand new, went under the truck and visually inspeced the fuel lines from the tank to the intake, could not find any holes or leaks, what else can i do or what else could be the problem?? I have compleatley ran out of thngs to check, i keep deleating the code with my scanner and within 3 days it comes back. Please help.

Code says evap system control malfunction. And I give up.

The problem may be internal in the charcoal canister or possibly the EVAP canister vent valve or circuit also. I believe the vent valve has it's own fuse. The charcoal canister is on the driver's side by the frame rail and gas tank...make sure that it isn't cracked from an accidental meeting with a lift of floor jack. Also, if the gas tank has ever been out of the truck, to replace the fuel pump or sending unit, etc., I'd recheck any of the hoses on top, filler neck, etc. first.
