Pacesetter vs Speed Engineering Headers
Any reason to get one or the other? I am finally getting around to camming my truck since I have tons of time on my hands now. I installed a new flowmaster exhaust a week or two ago and now I am finishing up the exhaust so my cam can breathe properly. My question is, both of these headers and y pipes cost the same amount, what would you guys recommend I purchase. Also has anyone ever had to drill extract a bolt from the exhaust manifold? I drive a 21 year old truck and I am willing to bet my life that at least one bolt is going to break off in there, just thinking about it makes me nervous

I'm not too horny over the little bit of power I am losing, not taking it to the track any time soon. Funds were not there for Borla when I was looking at it and the Flowmaster was on sale so I said f it.

I had pacesetters on my cammed 99 and currently have speed engineering on my 14 without a cam. If they are the same price, I would go with the speed engineering. The quality on them is great for the price.

thank you for the response. Wasn’t sure if speed engineering was just cheap chinese POS. Why do all auto websites always look so lackluster

Speed engineering. I use them on everything and they fit nice. I just dropped a set on my LS3 powered 1990 K5 Jimmy yesterday lol. I mean they go great on that truck and they aren't even technically designed for a 4x4. The set on my 04 were the same thing... using half ton headers and they fit perfect on a 3/4 ton. They are actually 304 stainless too and not painted bare steel like Paceshitters
