Parasitic drain from RADIO and SEO1 fuses..where to begin?

sounds like a plan..just remove the cluster and its back behind that? Ive had this dash apart so many times haha..the TCC module was the most fun to replace a few years ago..got lucky with that one and didnt have to program anything in it

Yep, it's about 6" behind the gauge cluster on the top. You'll see antenna coax running to a bracket and it's back there. It has a 25 pin parallel port, just unplug that connector if you can reach it and you're good.
If you want to find the Onstar module just follow that DB25 connector wiring back to the source lol.

sounds good..this this is pissing me off..watched it on the meter over a span of 6 hours last night, never got above .09A draw..i havent done anything different other that mess around with it since i was getting a 1A draw..i guess ill keep pulling fuses at night until i know forsure that its fixed.

Did you ever figure out this issue? I have a 2003 silverado SS and have the same problem. I traced mine to the radio and amp fuses - If i pull those im golden and get no draw. I was thinking it could be the PAC harness used to keep the steering wheel controls with my pioneer touch screen.
This has been driving me crazy for a while now but just havent gotten around to messing with it.

lol yes and no..I was pulling the SEO1 and Radio fuse and it got old so i quit driving it and drove the other truck...messed with it again and decided to try just pulling the SEO1 fuse since it was drawing most of it. Havent had a problem since, and the SEO1 doesnt even do anything in mine since onstar is analog and its unhooked.
I did try messing with the entire radio harness, pulled the amp etc and i never had any luck that way.

Ive read a bunch of stuff about the bose amps going bad and not shutting completely off with the truck but im about to take this thing to a really good electrical guy near me. Ill let you know
