I was coming home from dropping off my girlfriend at her house tonight and ran into some traffic. The road she lives off of is curvy and through the mountains. There are about 5 cars in front of me doing 45 in a 55mph zone. There aren't alot of passing zones through there so after a few miles of this I am seeing red. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> One car turns off so there are 4 left. By this point i am saying everything in the book and hitting the steering wheel. I kinda felt like the iraqy dude on office space in the beginning of the movie. Anyway a bit later 3 other cars turn off on the same road so i am thinking easy passing now.I thought maybe he would speed up to at least the speed limit. Did he? Helllll no.....So I thought I would be nice anyway and do a slower kinda of pass. You know one that you just dont stomp on it all the way. So I put my turn signal on and start to go around. Well I am 3/4's of my truck past him and I here him punch the little motor for all it is worth, start honking his horn , and putting on his high beams. I was thinking " dude you have a ford festiva you should be used to getting passed." Well I thought since he was being a *** so will I. So instead of passing him all the way I just turned back into the lane about 3/4 past him. The little egg on wheels had to slam on his little egg brakes. I hang my hand out and tell him that he is number 1 and go on my way. Well I stop in town town to give my truck some of this great priced $1.83 gas and what do I see.....A ford festiva pulling in behind me. I am thinking great so i have pissed off one of Manson's relatives. Well this lumber jack looking dude comes out of this egg and walks over to my truck. I really dont see how this wookie of a man fit into that car. So at this point I am thinking great I am going to get my *** kicked. Well, the dude started preaching to me and told me I was going to hell and such. This guy followed me into the store while i paid ranting a raving about about how I was going to burn in the fire pits of the devil. I am waiting for this guy to hit me with a Bible or something. So i get into my truck and lock the doors before this dude jumps in or something. As I start to drive off he starts yelling " You're going to hell boy" So I thoughtfully rolled my window down and yelled " see ya there" and smiled. I tell you there are some freaks in this world. Knowing my luck, that was Jesus and I had given him the bird. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" /> Anyway I'm sorry this was so long and everyone be careful who you sign to. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />

hey man, i feel ya on the slow drivers, just be glad you don't live in florida. but just to let ya know, the guy in the car who was trying to scare you of damnation, he's part of the few Christians who choose to take action about something that he really hasn't thought much about. being part of the majority of Christians, i apologize for those like your joy riding friend.

that was about the best thing i've read all day! i hate when people speed up when you are passing them. it makes me want to put it in neutral and blow some no cat/bullet exhaust right in their ear....most of the time that isn't a good idea to hit neutral when passing though so i don't. i just hit second gear and do the rocket pass and 1 finger salute all at the same time. calm down man...people like that will be banished to driving civics and accords in the after life while we will be in c5r vettes and heads/cam SSs, and bad *** trucks. <img border="0" alt="[shoot]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" /> people that drive slow!!!

I too hate it when people speed up when you try to get around them, or they turn off a side street onto a 2lane rode and go into the left lane, instead of staying in the right lane when you are turning... (happened 10 minutes ago).

I sometimes wish my tint wasnt so dark, but then again i guess thats good, since my guestures would probably get my *** kicked.

I deal with that crap every day on the way to and from work. The speeds are a little higher but, same thing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I don't bother with the slow pass stuff anymore.
