save the money, sell the car and buy a nice used grand prix. They are quicker than that car by far and still get great MPG and have alot more room in them!
Waste of money to try to "mod" a cavalier IMO

Without going forced induction he's not going to get much of anywhere. The ones at the local 1/8th mile track were doing high 10s and low 11s in the 1/8th.

My mom had one with the quad 4 in it, I neutral dropped the dog **** out of that car every chance I got. It really wasn't that slow for what it was.

On a budget, cut up the stock airbox and make a CAI, do what you can with the exhaust then spray it. If it's the lastest generation 2.2 it'll probably take a 50-75 shot and stay in one piece.

stickers, body kit and a huge spoiler to make sure that puppy stays grounded the title is an oxymoron by the way
