Angry PIAA Bulb Replacement Problem

Anyone change their factory 2003-2005 Silverado bulbs?
I just purchased a set of PIAA Xtreme White Plus bulbs. Part #'s 9006 (Low beams) & 9005 (high beams).
The factory bulbs came out and go back in fine. The PIAA units will not go in.
They are too tight. They are so tight they take off the inner chrome plating around the hole the bulbs go into.
Are these the right bulbs? There are no different ones that will work. The three notch grooves, harness hook up, and look of the bulbs look right.
Anyone else replace their bulbs with PIAA units in an 03+ Silverado?

Found the problem. It was the left head light housing. They must have applied too much chrome at the hole. The right side was no problem.
I had the bulbs in the right hole, just GM must sprayed a little too much chrome paint on the left reflective backing.
It kind of sucks because the chroming around the bulb area came off.
I of course will be the only one that will notice that.
If I hit the high beams at you with these PIAA Xtreme White Plus lights......it will blind you !
The lows are really bright as well. Though they are barely legal. They are 65w bulbs, but shine at a 115w rating.
People are going to be flashing me with there brights to only get a surprise back into their face . Can we say camera flash bright !!

The piaa's are awesome

If you really want to light them up, do the 4 high headlight mod.

I've always wanted to ask somebody who drives around with their poorly-aimed fog lights on, "why?".
If you are just trying to be annoying, good job.

Most people who drive w/their fog lights on just do it because they think it looks cool and don't care if they are improperly aimed. Has nothing to do with improving how they see the road. If others flick their brights at you then you need to shut yours off or re-aim them.
