you know when you turn on your brights, the low beams turn off. well this keeps both high and low beams on at the same time. can see alot better at night. it works great up here in Upstate NY since we have alot of country roads and deer that tend to wander. i hit a deer going 65 mph the 1st weeek i had my truck 5 years ago. it was about $4000 in damage. i bought deer whistles right after that. hopefully this extra precaution will help out too for sighting those deer at night.

all you have to do is clip the yellow wire on your headlights and ground it to bare metal

That would be the headlight side of the yellow wire, correct?

I tried this and had some trouble. When I grounded both the yellow wires, it did cause all 4 lights to come on when i turned on the brights. But when I went back to dim there were no lights at all. Also, the foglights would not come on when the lights were set on bright.

What I'm looking for: Dim lights to come on as usual........4 lights when I switch to bright............ability to cut foglights on when headlights are dim or bright.

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Are you grounding the yellow wire on the headlight side? Also, what year truck do you have?

hmm... idk what to tell ya. When Keuka comes back later on, he should be able to clear things up for you... I have yet to do it myself but I will in the next few days probably.

as far as the fog lights go, the computer could possibly be reprogrammed, I just hard wired mine into the headlite fuze and put a switch on the dash...so I have full control. Theres only one wire comming from them that plugs into the computer.
