Nonni or JakeBrakeIH, or others, what is Seafoam? Where do ya get it? If it's bad for my trucks cats, I wouldn't use it personally.:

If it ain't knockin, leave it alone. And if it is, get a 6.0L, Bill.
Have Rick get some custom pistons,...cause I know you've got plans to go faster.

@33K mi, Bill, the 5.3 is sufferin from 566 hp beatin it to ****. Wait til it blows, unless the knockin is annoyin. Then, see above plan.

The coating are one the lq4 pistons way back in 02-03, not sure about the 4.8, 5.3 liters...

No sea foam in the crank case for me, and I'm pretty sure the meth is a great top-end cleaner.

fastnblu: Sea Foam is a multipurpose gas/oil additive that you can get at auto parts stores;I think even Wal Mart has it now. It's supposed to be a pretty good fuel system cleaner. Some use it to clean inside the intake manifold by letting vacuum pull it in(search Sea Foam). You can also put it in the oil to clean the inside of the engine but it's kind of a controversial thing to do.
