If I plan on a TruTrac & Caltracs, I'm wondering. I typically do a mod @ a time. I know the Caltracs should help ETs. Wouldn't a TruTrac just be a durability upgrade, & not lower ETs @ all?
The way I see it, do the Caltracs after, since there's less **** to get in the way while I'm underneath.

Do you have 3.73's in the rear end? If so you can leave it. Don't go any higher than an 18. You may want to consider the thought process from the back end up. What rear end is going to handle all that torque that you're wanting to build? (Did that sound right?).

Do you mean 18" wheel/ tire combo? If that's what u mean, I wanna stay w/ a 18" setup. Lisa, I would only use a 20" to stuff huge brakes in.
Tryin to stay w/ a 10 bolt. Hopefully build it right, & maybe it'll last.

IDK all the mods to your ride, but some time ago I remember readin bout some of them. Who did install?

Pacesetter Headers, ORY, Flowmaster 40, DMH e-cutout, new alty (can't remember the amp), Hypertech 160 Stat, 221/221 .518 lift 112 LSA Comp Cam, 7.4 Chromoly hardening pushrods, dual valve springs, new valve seats, titanium retainers, new water pump, B&M Trans cooler, Vette Servo, Transgo Shift kit, and the House of Wheatley Tune 93 Oct. Do you need more?

I believe I just turned over 50k or it's sittin at 49,999. I want to throw my QA1s on the rear now. But, if I pay someone to put a TruTrac in, I'll be or if they damage my aluminum shock bodies. I know of 2 really good places known locally for drivetrain work. But that doesn't mean they'll be as careful round my stuff as me.

I don't know where your located. If in the Houston area AxisT6 is the Gearman. He installed the TruTrac and the Yukon 4.10's. Great learning experience.
The Chariot has roughly 119k mi on it. And everyday I completely enjoy driving it. I have to give comps to my pit crew

Ya, he gave me a list of tools I'd need if I choose to do myself. And some other info in the drivetrain thread he posted for me to check out. He's a few too miles away.
2 reputable shops in my area. The 1 has been doing it for many yrs, & they know they're very good @ what they do, as many know of their work. So u pay $$$ from them, but u know it's right.
The 2nd shop has been around for prolly 20 yrs, & if I don't do myself, I prolly give them the nod. There prices seem fair, & I know someone there, so I'll get some help partwise, but labor will be full price.
