Please help me with overheating 4l60e

Can you ( temporarily at least ) ZIP-Tie a cheap dodge neon or subaru junk yard FAN onto the Tru-Cool, wire it to a relay and cab mounted toggle switch, and see if temps reduce by 100 degrees immediately ?
That'll give you a clue as to whether Torque converter clutch is slipping, or ATF FLOW is restricted.
