is it possible to lower the speed limiter?
okay, here's the deal. my dad owns a construction company with multiple trucks. we received five complaints concerning his driving <we have those "how's my driving stickers" on the trucks> . Complaints were about speeding and weaving through traffic without turn signals. So here's my question, would it be possible to put a lower speed limiter on a Ford 150? If not, what then could we try to slow him down other than firing him?

the best solution is to seat down and have a "you f- up" talk. a speed limiter would solve the speeded problem but u said he also was weaving in traffic which doesn't matter with a limiter. it should be made clear to him it won't be tolerated. after all he's driving you truck's on yourt insurance.my opion is your problem needs to be made to want to be a safer drive. btw not sure on your ford question.

Yep, sounds like you need to sit down with this guy and let him know to knock off the speeding and unsafe driving. Let him know that any more complaints will result in him losing the company vehicle for a probation period. After that if there are anymore complaints it'll be gone for good. It might only take a few weeks of him driving his own vehicle loaded up with tools and paying for gas to set him straight.
If that is not an option a throttle stop or lower speed limiter would be the solution but, those COULD be dangerous in certain situations.
I'm not sure what programming options there are for Ford trucks though.
