Default Power Folding Mirrors Trouble...

I just got some new OEM power folding heated rear view mirrors installed on my truck, but they won't fold in.

Heres the story:
Some fawker stole my mirrors and dented my door at Wally-Mart, luckily my insurance covered the damage and the stolen parts. My Silverado came with the DL3 option (power, heat, turn signal, dimming, puddle light mirrors) from the factory, so the insurance paid for new ones and fixed my door, but I just got the truck back from the dealership, and the new mirrors don't wanna fold in? When I fold them in manually, they will unfold when I click on the controlling switch, but I try to fold them in with the switch and they only move a little bit but wont fold. Should I cycle them back and forth for a while or could my BCM need a reflash, even though I got to have the same exact mirrors as before? Is there any sequence that I need to do in order to reprogram the mirrors? I really don't wanna mess anything up.

Any help apreciated guys.

Edit: I just checked the mirrors again and the motors dont make a sound when I try to fold them in.

You should be able to resyncronize them by foldingthem in or out and pushing the button that way and you should hear a pop if not maybe you do have a logic issue with the mirrors and will need to return to dealer, thaat should work though

He's right! You have to do a "Re-Park" procedure before they'll recognize themselves.

How exactly do I do the re-park procedure? I should just fold them in manually and click the controller for them to flip outwards over and over until they start working?

Update:

Well, I got the controller for the mirrors replaced by the insurance since the dealership said it had burned out due to the mirrors being stolen which was causing the problem. Total was $288 for a new one including labor. I picked up my truck yesterday, and the mirrors worked fine at the dealership. I folded them in and out about three times and they worked flawlessly, but while I was driving home I adjusted the mirror caps and when I tried to fold them in again, they wouldn't fold. WTF! I got home and called the dealership and they said to take the truck back next Wednesday since they were off to Christams vacation. Now I have to wait till next week in order for them to check my truck's mirrors again and I don't know what could be causing the mirrors to stop folding and its driving me nuts!!!

Any insight what could be causing the power folding mirrors to stop folding in after I adjust the mirrors caps. BTW, when I tested the truck at the dealership the engine was running but the truck was in Park, and when I tried to fold them and they wouldn't fold I was driving the truck. They should be able to fold eventhough the truck is running on the street. Now they don't fold anymore even when I'm parked. Could it be that something is burning the mirror controller or deactivating it? Or maybe the BCM needs reflashing? Both the mirrors and controller are brand new. Any help apreciated guys.

Update:

Well, took the truck to the dealership today, and they told me they won't replace the mirror controller under warranty, unless they first fix whats causing it to burn up or deactivate, but that I would have to pay for that. They charge $87.50 an hour. First of all, they need to find the problem, then they gotta fix it, so it looks like it will take a faily long time = too much $$$.

Do you guys think it could be the BCM? I don't know what else it could be.

Well, it wasn't really a wreck, some SOB just stole my mirrors. Thanks man, I'm taking the truck back to the dealership on Wednesday, see what they say. Nice looking truck btw.
