Default Power Mirrors Maintenince

So, for some reason I have been on this big "lube everything" kick. Every hinge on my truck is oiled and running smooth. All of my door locks work like they are brand new, my hood pops with little effort (it used to feel like I was going to break the plastic handle every time I popped it.). While installing some stinger road kill expert for a future stereo install I put new grease on my power seats and they work better than they EVER have.

Which brings me to my question. Is there any way to dis-mantle the power rear view mirrors to lube the gears and motors to give them a little help. I use them every day with their curb view feature and when in parking spaces I some times use the power fold-in feature. I can hear the motors starting to struggle from time to time and If I can lube them up and keep them working smoothly I would do it in a heartbeat. I was looking in my chiltons manual to see if it said anything about them but it stated "No User Servicealbe Parts Inside". (I hope thats not completely true). If there is a way to access the motor and gears can you please give me some insite? If there are any exploded views on these things that would be a HUGE help. Sorry for the rant/long question but I felt I needed to explain a little of my thought process.

Heeeellooooo.....eellloooo....elloo...elloo...ello o

FYI for the part of my message that says "No user serviceable parts inside" in my history is a bunch of BS! If the mirror can come out I bet I can take care of the rest. Any thing guys????

Actually there isn't a whole lot that you can do, there are sealed actuators back there, and the possibility of breaking one of the plastic retainers that holds the mirror to the actuators is probably greater than anything that you'd gain from trying to grease the mechanism. For my mirrors, I have to periodically disassemble the switch and clean the contacts as they often get inoperative due to build up. I use a pencil eraser for this

10-4 thats all I needed to know. Like I said I have been doing this on EVERYTHING on my truck and its amazing what a little grease or oil can do to the feel of a door or latch or power seats . Thanks for the heads up on what actually moves the mirrors. I was thinking worm gears and servos but like you said there isn't much you can do with actuators.
