My dads been looking for a plow truck to use once and a while in the winter,something cheap, so I went looking and I found a Id say 1986 4X4 GMC, looks like its got the 5.7 in it, its a RCLB manual trans. Anyways It looks like its got a lift on it maybe 4 inches Id say, anyways, what should we look for on this truck for potential problems? Ill try to get pics in a few minutes. thanks

P.S. Has extra bellhousing transfer case springs, cowl induction hood, 3 extra doors, a roll bar, 3 extra front clips and comes with a 79 blazer with no engine for 2000 bucks fro all the extras and both trucks, good price?

The only problem area of note would be the frame where the steering box is bolted to. Other than that, they are very simple and straight foreward trucks.

well kinda mad now, trucks got a ton of extra parts but my old man wont buy it cause its not a automatic. Manual supposibly sucks for snow plowing
