Default Question!

My dad decides to take my truck and pour in a can of Engine Restore when i was gone...anyone have any experience with this product? Its suppose to restore compression and fill in cylinder walls...my thought on it that it only thickens the oil. Have anyone every tryed this product?

oil additives are useless. If it were me I'd drain that junk out and do a oil change.

Restore is not thick at all. Probably no thicker than 5W30. I have used it in some old junkers and it is actually one of the few additives that work. You can tell a difference, but mainly on a worn out engine and you have to use it every oil change. Alot of those additives are snake oil though.

no, if your engine is real old it will work but if you want it to keep working you have to use it every oil change....if he wants to do additives and stuff without your knowledge only let him run seafoam...
