Default quick question...

So awhile back i did a cam swap in my truck long story short i ran out of time and had to reuse the head bolts. need less to say i had a head leak... since then ive replace the gaskets, new bolts, ect... now since that ive done a retune, and have done tbss injectors, now my truck started to smoke real bad before i changed the gaskets so im sure it was doing that because of the head gasket, but its still doing it. " i do have lt's with out cat's" and i dumped the exhaust right after the muffler but i havent ever noticed it before. i did a oil change not to long ago and it seems to be buring alittle oil, not a bunch but is that normal with the cam? " tr 220/220" and also from time to time when i first start it and go its gut less and staggers then it clears up and runs fine? just a few questions thanks guys...

What color is the smoke?

A cam shouldn't make you burn oil.

im pretty sure that its not leaking anymore, and i know the head isnt cracked? any ideas why it runs sluggish and stuff when i first crank it up and try and go? it seems like bout the time it quits the smoke crap it runs better?

When you have time after its sat over night pull the plugs and then crank it to see if one or which one has coolant getting in to it. as for running like crap its probably from coolant getting in one. Its either a head gasket or a cracked head.

im pretty sure its not cooliant. i just replaced the head gaskets, put in new springs, and new head bolts... that was maybe 6 weeks ago. cooliant level is fine. oils alittle low. but the head wasnt cracked as far as 6 weeks ago?

plugs are about 6-7 months old but were in when the gasket was leaking do they need replaced? wires are brand new too...
