My buddy who is an old timer is right now this very minute waiting for the Dodge boys shuttle van to come pick him up.His nearly new Hemi Ram was dropped off the other day because the radiator was leaking and the master cylinder was leaking.Doesnt matter to this guy he is as big of a loyalist as they come.04 Ram,99durange,70 powerwagon,55 Dodge truck restored.2K wrangler. And a 99 Ram still in the fam.Did I flick him **** about his leaky ram? NO.Just recommended he make sure it got new parts not a repaired rad.

I rode in my brother's RCSB Hemi and was not impressed after all the hype I heard about them. He ran it on a g-tech meter and was only able to manage a 15.4 and a mid 7 0-60 and his had the 3.90 gear with 17" tires. I also noticed how slow the tranny shifted... maybe some sort of DC "torque management" or something. Sure they run good but a slightly modded genIII gm can take one. Now i rode in a buddy's lightning and it was faaaaaasssssttttttt. It was also modded with a Johnny Lightning air intake, reprogrammed pcm, headers, pulleys, and a transpack! Watch out SRT 10's!

yeah those lightnings really are impressive, they seem to be big around east texas, i see them everywhere, i had a friend who had one with a bassani exhaust, 4lb pulley, electric fans, shift kit, jdm chip(i think thats what it was) and an intake, and he managed a 12.8 with it, and i think he could have done better because he was having trouble launching it. that supercharged 5.4 is a torque monster, its almost hard to believe they can run 13.6-13.7's weighing 4700 lbs with 385 hp, when rcsb hemi's are so much slower.

i think ive decided that i just got lucky, i was only on a quarter of a tank, i was watching him in my mirrors when i punched it, it seemed like he responded pretty quickly, because he was ready for me to jump it seemed. it was dark though, and for all i know there could have been 2 people in it on a full tank of gas. he did sound like he had an exhaust though, and i didnt think i could see a tailpipe. i would have liked to run him again where he jumped first instead of me, but he had to turn off before we got another chance. id like to run one again just to see if it was a total fluke.

Exhaust and intake mods are just about worthless on the Hemi. The ones witch a SuperChips programer are the ones to watch out for. Hahaha

my 01 2500hd 8.1L with airhog, airaid MIT, magnaflow exaust, gibson shorties, and superchips makes the hemis appear slow and it rides on 37 and stock gearing, they are slow truck. I havent matched the 00 4.8L agaist on yet.

Maybe the Dodge Ram owner just added the HEMI emblem. It may have been just a 4.7L or a 5.9L. Both of them are not all that fast.
Either way, good job for putting the dog ram in it's place.

I dont get all of yall talking about this getting lucky crap , I have raced 5 HEMI RCSB and everyone came out the same way ... ME WINNNING !!!

First ever race with HEMI RCSB :

I had exhaust , intake , gears(3.73) ,Programmer (only tuned to go over 100)
2002 HEMI He had Nuthing , only reason I eaced him is because he was talking smack ..
20 roll: 3 trucks
30 roll: 3 trucks
60 roll: 5 to 6 trucks
stop: Yanked I let off at 50

Next :
Me: Same mods plus my 20's
Him: 2003 Some factory performance exhaust

stop: about 3 trucks by 80mph
30roll: 2trucks
40roll: he pulled out in front of me but I sucked him up by 70mph
60roll: 3.5 Trucks

Next:
Me: Same as usual without 20's
Him: 04' HEMI with a so called "better driver"

30 roll: 2 trucks
60roll: 3 trucks
5 roll(he wanted it): pretty bad
stop: he didnt want anymore

Next:
I think this one was a Rumble Ram or what ever
ME :Same
HIm: Exhaust Cut off and a attitude
30 roll: BAD
60 roll: REAL BAD
That was it , he turned off never to be seen again

My latest:
Me: Same
Him: 05 Hemi with 5 speed and 17's w/ intake and exhaust

30roll: 2 trucks ( he said he got a bad start)
30 roll: 2.5 Trucks
60 roll: 3 trucks
Stop: I pulled out about a 1/2 truck and he kind of stayed there till 60mph then I pulled about 1 truck on him at 90 then pulled bad after that ..

Every HEMI had 3.92 and 17's
The Bumble Ram had 20's
