h777: That is a sweet video, I like how you left the toolbox in. Also 13.71 is an amazing time for that truck, that baby really runs![/QUOTE]

thanks........this weekend i plan on going to the track for some new times with my new 16inch wheels and Hoosier full slicks that are 28x10x16......traction should not be a problem anymore also my old mickey thompson et street tire where only 26inch tall and i was hitting 4th gear (over drive) at 1100ft out .....with the taller 28inch slicks my gearing should be much better and i should trap in top of third gear instead of 4th gear which is killing my top end charge

i got my first chance to race a sc hemi the other night. i was just cruising when this guy flew by me, so i caught up. at 60 i dropped to 2nd and started taunting the **** outa him. he looked over and laughed, but never did anything. we caught a light and figured he was guna go for it cuz he threw a rev out(dodges sound awesome with exhaust). green light, i mashed it and he didnt . then about 100 yards down the road he decided to do a ricer fly by. kinda pissed me off so i went after him. i was creaping up on him pretty good until he let out of it at 100...i feel like i can beat one, but dont have solid proof yet

all i know is my friend with a 2002 crew cab hemi on 20s says he knows lightly modded 4.8 ecsb on 20s will beat him. he says he has been beaten too many times in the quarter by ecsb 4.8s. he has basically the same mods as me. but he says he can beat 5.3s all the time. i've beat plenty of 5.3s too, but i haven't raced a hemi truck yet. yeah they are a lot of hype. that five speed dc tranny really sucks and so does their suspension.

the problem your friend has is "hemi envy" he has it so bad he thinks his 2002 has a hemi. he might want to recheck his sticker. hemi was a 2003.5 option.
