I always wanted to weigh my truck. Every time I went to track, it was Test-N-Tune duing the week. They only have the scales on weekend events.
So I stop by a local place w/. a scale. Since they weren't busy, I figured it'd be a great opportunity. "I said anyway u could tell me what my truck weighs?"

She asked, "does it have to be certified?"

I said, "no".
She tore off slip & away I went. I've removed hitch, original airbox, & exh. manifolds. Replaced airbox w/ ramair setup in sig. & LTs. Oh ya, I replaced springs front & rear w/. my Hotchkis springs, swapped out front swaybar for hollow bigger TVS sway & added a rr sway w/. supporting hardware.

That said, w/. 1/4 tank gas, actually 3/16 (or 1 hash mark less that), it tipped scales @ 4320.

I just wanted an idea. I was hoping for ~4100-4150.

My tires in rear are only a slightly bigger 16", that together IIRC, added 8#.
Again, like said in 1st post, I wanted a ballpark

I knew I had some junk inside truck, so today, I pulled all that out & weighed it on bathroom CDs. Tools, CDs, detailing stuff, clothes in case of a roadside repair, stuff for my job. A 2x4 & some other junk. Some stuff was/ is not needed, so I wanna keep only the necessary stuff.

So, I started w/ 4320#.
Removed 46#. That puts me @ 4274#.

My original paperwork when I got truck said 4293#. So exchangin parts & removin a hitch only took out 19#.
It's no silver-mod-o freak, but it's not bad.

I can't see much more coming out unless I put on a rollpan.

Roll pan and removed tow package and spare.. Pretty much same form as now except with 22s and just a muffler and intake. 1/4 tank of gas, I had a small system in then too.

Skeet, you're lighter than me by a bit, even w/. 18"s.

Yours musta been built on a Mon. or a Fri.

Is yours a 1999-2002?
Cause I've heard/ read those are supposed to be lighter on average.

How much is that cover going to weigh Tom? My PaceEdwards roll up weighs a ton...but I guess it makes the back sit lower

I'd like to have my truck weighed one of these days...
