Rear brake caliper issue
I recently ordered a new set of brakes for the truck. When I got everything in the rear pads and rotors do not fit. They were designed for a truck with dual piston calipers. My truck has single piston rear calipers. Which strangely enough when I ordered all these parts a few years ago, everything was right and fit fine. But this time nothing was right. When looking online it says the ext cab had dual piston calipers and the regular cabs have single piston, Is mine a fluke or are others like mine?
What 2001 or similar years came with dual piston rear calipers?
Would they fit my truck without any modifications? the parking brake is my main consideration.
Since I already have the rotors and pads should I just go get some new dual piston calipers from the parts store. they seem to be $75 per caliper.

Would this be the caliper I need
Cardone Friction Choice 18B4765 - Unloaded Brake Caliper 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 | O'Reilly Auto Parts
Cardone Friction Choice 18B4764 - Unloaded Brake Caliper 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 | O'Reilly Auto Parts
they also have a caliper for vehicles with a 9900 GVW, which i guess is for a 1500 HD?
I noticed there is a 3rd rotor type with a diameter between the 12.8 and 13, but it has 8 lugs and seems to be for a 1500HD

Hey man...just wanted you to know that I went through the same issue a bit ago! I was just doing a brake job though and noticed that when I ordered the correct brakes that the previous owner I guess tried doing a half a** brake upgrade and thats why I had so many issues with my brakes! So I went ahead and upgraded to a dual piston caliper and done it right...works great now...LOL!!!
