Recommend a smooth riding 275/55/20 tire.
I have a 06' ECSB with the factory 20s on it. It came with Goodyear LS2s, which rode pretty good, and lasted 60k miles.
I replaced the fronts with Coopers of the same size and they ride like HELL.
****** log wagon, son!
Anyhow, that was about a year ago, and the rears were not yet worn enough to warrant replacement. They are getting pretty thin now, and no way in hell im going with Coopers again.
Would I be just as well off going with the OE Goodyear tires?
Any other tire you would recommend for my truck?
Its my DD vehicle, and I dont need anything that is performance oriented. I want a smooth ride, thats it.

i run Toyo Proxes STII and they ride great! they are quiet, have nearly flawless wet handling, have a directional tread pattern, and they are smooth as can be. they're expensive though. other than that i hear good things about the OpenCountry tires too.

Hands down Hankook Ventus ST RH06. I went from from 275/55/20 Kumho Ecsta STX to 275/45/20 Hankook Ventus ST RH06 and am 100% sold on these tires. I love them so much I'm going to get another set in 17"s when I get a chance.
Huge ride and traction improvement and affordable.
as far as the proxes price i'd say they are affordable compared to most IMO.

BTW, I don't know how you got 60K out of the Goodyear LS's as I'm not hard on tires - I always manage more mileage than the warranty period - and only got 40K out of mine.

^^ i agree with him... idk how the hell you got 60k out of those LS's ha we always have guys come in with like 30-40k on them replacing them, an they are little old men so i know they arent doggin on the truck.
IMO i would go either michelins for the best ride and comfort! or, the hankooks arent so bad... little more sporty if ya go that direction.
