Question Remove Speed-limiter.

One of my friends and I were talking about trucks one day and I mentioned that I wanted to get a hyper-pac (mostly to remove the limiters). Then, he mentioned that on some Dodge trucks theres a way to remove the limiters without buying anything.
Apparently, what you do is insert the key into the ignition, turn it to the latch right before the starter, push the key inwards (towards the left <-) and hold it there for 20 seconds and it will remove the speed limiter and rev limiter for that "run".
I have no idea if this is true or not and wanted to know if anyone has heard about this or if there is a similar technique for Chevy trucks.

On a GM vehicle that WILL NOT work. Get a tune or a handheld, but a Tune is more cost effective.

I guess I'll go post on the Dodge forums and go bash my head in the wall a couple of times.

There are multiple options for mail order and live

Nelson (SanAntonio)
Wheatley (Houston)
Wait4Me (not sure but not the greatest from what i've heard)
Zippy (Detroit???)

There are more and i'm sure others will chime in

I don't know about this but here it goes I've heard that on the 99-2002 if you disconnect one of the abs sensors on one of your front wheels it'll remove the speed sensor.

actually that is true for the dodge trucks. There is a certain way you can work the key to disable the speed limiter.
