Default Replacing Weatherstripping.

Ive been having a problem with wind noise in my driver side door(sounds like the windows are down when goin over 100).

So i ordered the two peices of weatherstripping that goes around the door and im going to replace them.

What do i have to do to replace them and do i need any kind of glue. Ive never done this before.

if there is a head wind, 70mph is pretty annoying... at 140 its extremely loud

My truck is the same way, eventually I concluded that my door pins are sagging just enough so the door doesnt shut completely tight at the top causing alot of wind noise over 100

you could just slow down.

Mine does the same thing, but that's cuz the stripping is sagging at the top. Easy to replace you just open the doors and pop your trim up at the bottom and start pulling the old stuff on and putting the new stuff on. I did it on my blazer a long time ago.
It's double bad for me because whoever had the truck before me tore the stripping off the rear passenger side window and put that thin crap on it from o'reilly's. the only way to fix it is to buy a new window.

no, it has a lip on it, it just pops on.
however if you wanted to you could get some black weather strip adhesive and put a lil in the lip before you put it on, just to help it hold better at the top.
