Bought an air nibbler today. Still undecided if I'll run the tips through the pan or just cut full relief at the bottom. I want not to be able to see the tailpipes from the side of the truck.

I have the huge oval Corsa tips. I'll do some photochops of the different options before I decide. Even thinking through the pan with the tips vertical might look okay. If I screw it up, no biggie, just a new pan right.

Couple pictures of current, less the hitch and spare tire. I'll extend the pewter stripe around the tailgate while at it.

Im not a fan of tips at all which is y mine is kind of a hidden rear dump. But to each his own. I would say just no tips and dump it right before the roll pan facing down. But verticle thru the pan may look good as long as its flush with the pan IMO

I think the only way to be sure is to test fit the pan. It looks like the tail sections will be pretty low and more visible with the rollpan. I like turndowns just in front of the pan myself. However you do it, I'm sure it will look as nice as the rest of your truck.

I'm not a fan of the vertical idea myself, but I'm sure that however you do it, it will look good. Are you going to mold the pan in?
