just curious if anyone out there had any experience with these. had one at a light today, he took off hard and i floored started pulling past him hard. once i got the back of my cab even with his front bumper he let off. Does it sound about how i would compare to one or do you think he was just playing? also with my mods what kinda numbers do u think i would put down on the dyno, and the 1/4, just curious.

w/ your mods, id say youd take him as long as he is stock. there are alot of mods out there for the 5.9 R/Ts, so if he was decently modded like you, id say hed take you.

Good run. If it was a stock scsb it's good for mid/low 15's. Althought some guys over the the dodge forums claim some even dip into the very high 14s, I find it hard to belive.

i have seen one or two at the track that were stock and they were mid to upper 15's in the summer heat. nothing special considering the size engine they have and the size truck that it fits in.

ive been hearing they are heavyweights. Anyone got any number estimates for me? Got my ASM's installed yesterday took me and my buddy 3-4 hours, most of the time spent with the passenger side. Fairly pleased with performance they pick up and go, noticed most of it in the highewr RPM range. Nelson tune is next any other ideas for next mods are welcome.

I know a guy that Races his Dakota RT at National Trails all the time and
can't break 15.5. They have good low end Torque but HP isn't very good.
I have been in one that the owner really thinks it's bad, When I run him I will
post results.

I lined up against an ext cab one at the track two times during the time trial runs to get our dial in times, both races were identical. Our R/T's were pretty close and he pulled about 1/2 a truck, we stayed right there until we both shifted into 3rd gear. He shifted first and started to fall back some, when I shifted I kept pulling and won each race by a truck length. I was running 14.9's at the time and he ran 15.1's, he had intake, exhaust and a programmer. I would say that if it was a street race he would have won because it took me almost a 1/4 mile to catch and beat him, a race on the freeway wouldn't be that close. They have good low end and mid range but no top end.
