Question S-10 build

Hey guys I am thinking about putting a V8 in a 91 S-10. Either a 5.3 of a 6.0 havent decided yet. I just wanted to know if anyone here had done this project and could tell me how much trouble the installation would be. Thanks for any info

There are several. Might do a search in the projects gallery.

Go on LS1Tech and looking the "hybrid and conversions" section. I believe that's what's its called.... PLENTY of LS based S10s there, and a few here too.... "Black X" happens to be my favorite.

I would say look at my build but it's really not going to well. go here and read alot, if you post a question thats already answered you will get flamed. its a pain but if you have some money and a welder its not too bad. especially since you will only need a stand alone harness.

feel free to ask me any questions though.

That's not technically true... Well over on LS1tech maybe. But over here it depends on how common the question is.
If you can find the answer in a 30 second search, then yea. you might get flamed.
Not a lot of S10 swaps on this forum. Ls1tech is going to be the best bet for that. but as I stated above. search that section for a keyword if you have a question. Odds are you can find the answer in no time.

Good luck with the project and keep us posted on the progress. We could use some more of those projects in this forum. I mean. it is a truck after all.

I'm two years into my 6.0 swap but did a paint job, converted it to pw,pdl,pm interior color change. Words of advice, it will not be cheap or quick to do it right. Mine works down to the cruise, abs, hvac and oem dual fans.
