Yea are you saying while just driving under part throttle, timing never went above 22? Part throttle should go alot higher. Now 22 wot isn't that low, my old 6.0 ran best at 25 wot. Anyway you look at it, it should at least be in the 13's

Throwing more timing at it isn't the fix. A 6.0 rcsb running 16.8 has something mechanical wrong but it's just easy to blame the tune. I had a similar experience and got 6 retunes but stayed the same until I opened the valve covers and saw loose rocker. Running on 7 cylinders kills performance. Btw lost 2 sec off quarter with that.

I'm not blaming the tune, 5 retuned show it's mechanical. During the cam swap I'm checking all the valvetrain.

stock48 is there anyway besides changing the lifters to check for lifter pump up?
When the lifter is on the base circle of the cam the pushrod will stick up higher than the rest. You have to pull the rockers off and measure all intake, and exh. Be sure the lifter is pushed down on the base circle of the cam. That #8 plug doesn't look right. Just because a injector is firing doesn't mean it's always good.
