Default service brake system

For a while now my ABS and Brake light have been flashing off and on. I checked the fluid and it was good. I just rotated my tires and the pads look good and no wheel play. Now when it comes on it says SERVICE BRAKE SYSTEM. Any ideas or suggestions. The truck is a 06 sierra ccsb. thanks for any help.

Maybe an ABS sensor...Mine stays on because my right front sensor is bad. Just a thought might have GM scan it with a Tech II to find out for sure whats wrong.

A quick search should have netted you some very informative places to start.

Those should give you somewhere to start looking.

If you need an ABS pump, I have the one off of my 06. Has about 20k miles on it. Not sure what its worth, but I'll make you a hell of a deal on it if you need it. PM me.
