silverado SS wheel question
i am planning on getting new tires here shortly and was thinking about getting the ss silverado 20" wheel. however i have been looking for someone to get rid of theirs but no luck. On EBAY i found some replica ones and i wanted to see what yall think about it. for some reason they don't look like the OEM SS silverado wheel. yet at the same time it does. anyways what do yall think? could i just get the wheel and replace the center cap for a standard ss cap? alright thanks yall.

They seem to look pretty damn close to the originals to me.
You need to ask the replica company if a O.E. center cap will work before you buy them. At least if that is something you are really stuck on.
I would go to a tire & wheel shop and purchase them from them. The mail order stuff from Ebay could turn ugly.
I sell them a NTB. We of course would need to order them.
NTB is also known as Tire Kingdom, Big O Tire, or Merchants Tire & Auto. Just depends on what part of the US you live at.
I see you live near Houston. You could stop in on a weekend at the one I work at in Spring if you want. It's at 2920 & Kuykendahl. I only work weekends there.
Call me there at 832-717-4263. I could just give you some prices on them if you call me before 12:00pm on Saturday.
Call me there if you want.
Jim

If you got a Discount Tire in your area try them, some people when buying new wheels don't take there old ones back. Not a guarantee they will have a set of SS wheels.

My buddy bought some OEM SS wheels from them and got a good deal. $1050 for the wheels and center caps shipped. The center caps are a little flakey, they are a plain center cap with a bowtie emblem decal, but they still look great

yes sir they are. I wieghed mine at 81 lbs a peice. That is the wheel and tire(285/50/20 goodyear fortera). I then wieghed my stockers and they where 61lbs wheel/tire(265/75/r16 wildcats) I also seem to lose .5 in the 1/4 with the 20's.
